BM201 + 'A touch of pink'

Hey Girlie's

Here's a quick post from me tonight.

For this manicure i used:

- BM201.
- Colour Club - Fashion Addict.
- Konad Special Black Polish.

Its a simple pattern - but look how cute it looks.

I'm not crazy about pink polishes usually....
However, Colour Club's Fashion Addict is just too stunning to say no too - plus its a yummy holographic polish.

I am extremely happy with how the image transferred onto my nails.

For swatching the BM201 Plate i used:

* Apologies in advance for the sloppy application of polish- i just wanted to finish testing this plate and get on with the manicure - and it shows =-/ *

- W7 - Spearmint
- Konad special black polish

XL B + ' Hippie Easter Eggs'

Hey Ladies!

I hope you all had a great weekend =).

I sure do love my themed manicures....So i thought I'd do a 'crazy' Easter Manicure today.

For this Manicure i used:

- Gosh - Holographic.
- Konad Special Red, Orange, Yellow, Green & Blue Polishes.

I love how this turned out.

Its like someone went crazy and threw loads of paint all over my nails.
.
I got this effect by dotting the colours on the left side of the image i wanted to use on my XL B plate, then dragging them across with my scrapper.

I love Gosh Holographic, i love it so much - that Ive brought another bottle today =).

I bet your all thinking...She's gone mad ....This has nothing to do with Easter.

Well if your thinking that then your all wrong. When i was little - i used to love drawing Easter eggs with thousands of 'Zig- Zags' across each egg.

When i saw this design on the XL B plate - it made me immediately think of Easter (this immediately put a big smile on my face).

See below for an extremely bad interruption 'Of an Easter egg i used to draw when i was young'.

Before i did this manicure i tried other combinations with similar ideas.

The first idea i did was: (Below)

For this manicure i used:

- Revvvolution - Color Club .
- Konad Special Red,Yellow, Green & Blue Mixed with Konad Special White Polish.

I got the idea of mixing colours from the lovely Emily at Emily's Nail Files.

I put 2-3 Dots of Konad Special White Polish on the image i wanted to use, along with 1 dot of the colour i wanted to use (in this case Konad Special Blue Polish - it doesn't have to be a Konad colour to get the finished look, and regular polish will work ).

I then got a old paint brush and swirled the mixture together creating a Pastel Blue =).

*Warning* You have to work very quickly as the polish begins to dry on the plate...Something i learnt on my first attempt =-/ .

I wasn't entirely happy with how this turned out so tried something similar but different (See below)

For this Manicure i used

- Beauty UK - Urban Girl pastels.
- Konad Special Black Polish.

I wasn't keen at all on this manicure either and removed it pretty much straight away, It was then i came up with my 'Hippie Easter eggs'- and all was good lol.

D20 + ' Some Holo Glitz '.

Hey Ladies!

I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!.

For today's manicure i used my Chez Delaney Image D20.

I also used:

- Color Clubs - Fashion Addict.
- Colour Clubs - Wild at Heart.
- Fraulein 38 - Blue Glitter Nail Art Liner.
- Konad Special White Polish.

Why do my nails look so edible...they look like sugared candy because of the blue glitter lol...or is that just me?!?. lol.

I do like this plate...Although , not all the images do appeal to me.

I picked up the plate because i saw tinker-bell and thought weee!...fairy dust! - but chose these images for my manicure because they appealed to me more after swatching the plate.

Here (Below) is how my nails looked before stamping.

I love Holo polishes ... though they are just too distracting =).

Here is the lovely D20 image plate available from Here

For swatching the D20 plate i used:

- Beauty UK's - Midnight Minx's Purple Polish.
- Konad Special White polish.

Ive tried to capture each swatch picture with and without flash to attempt to show you each image .

The images transferred smoothly - Although i did lose poor tinker-bells wings... whilst i was stamping my door bell rang...silly post man =-/.

Whilst swatching this plate i only had problems with 1 image.

See below on my middle finger.

I knew before getting this set - there were risks involved , due to the fact poor chez had problems with manufacturing these plates.

However saying that....out of the 3 plates Ive tested to date- to encounter only 1 problem image is pretty fantastic =).

I must point out...I'm not ecstatic
about stamping butterflies on my nails...... However this plate does give a wide selection of different butterflies for those that love stamping butterflies =)....And i know from visiting a few of your blogs that some of these images will defiantly appeal to a high number of nail art enthusiasts.

Thanks for reading this, i hope you all enjoy your weekend- and relax =)
