XL A + ' A Silver Mosaique '

Hey Ladies!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

....But....

 How quickly did this weekend go =-/ .

I cant wait till July..I have a week booked off - to relax, and it cant come soon enough!

It feels like ages since I had time of work and I'm in real need of it atm.

Since last year Ive not had 100% health (Ive felt constantly tired and I'm always cold) .

Though I did not instigate this with my doctor .. till 3 months ago ( Yes I know naughty me =-/) 

My iron and thyroid levels are dropping every time I have a new blood test (To date Ive had 3 to investigate the problem). 

I recently started taking Multivitamins with extra iron - which has showed in my latest blood results...however my thyroid levels have taken another drastic drop =-/ 

Since Friday Ive been taking medication to help boost my thyroid levels - ill have another blood test again in 2 months to see if the dosage need to be lowered or upgraded =-/.

So that's where I currently am =-/. 

Therefore I decided to do a Manicure yesterday to cheer me up yesterday!.

For this Manicure i used:

- Gosh - Silver.

- Konad Special Black Polish.

- Stamping Plate - XL A.

Ive been wanting to use this design for ages.

I am very happy with how this manicure turned out!. 

I absolutely love this Silver polish. The above picture is after 2 applications.

Its one of my favourite polishes I own - Plus its a fantastic stamping polish =).

XL B + ' Hippie Easter Eggs'

Hey Ladies!

I hope you all had a great weekend =).

I sure do love my themed manicures....So i thought I'd do a 'crazy' Easter Manicure today.

For this Manicure i used:

- Gosh - Holographic.

- Konad Special Red, Orange, Yellow, Green & Blue Polishes.

I love how this turned out.

Its like someone went crazy and threw loads of paint all over my nails.

.

I got this effect by dotting the colours on the left side of the image i wanted to use on my XL B plate, then dragging them across with my scrapper.

I love Gosh Holographic, i love it so much - that Ive brought another bottle today =).

I bet your all thinking...She's gone mad ....This has nothing to do with Easter.

Well if your thinking that then your all wrong. When i was little - i used to love drawing Easter eggs with thousands of 'Zig- Zags' across each egg.

When i saw this design on the XL B plate - it made me immediately think of Easter (this immediately put a big smile on my face).

See below for an extremely bad interruption 'Of an Easter egg i used to draw when i was young'.

Before i did this manicure i tried other combinations with similar ideas.

The first idea i did was: (Below)

For this manicure i used:

- Revvvolution - Color Club .

- Konad Special Red,Yellow, Green & Blue Mixed with Konad Special White Polish.

I got the idea of mixing colours from the lovely Emily at Emily's Nail Files.

I put 2-3 Dots of Konad Special White Polish on the image i wanted to use, along with 1 dot of the colour i wanted to use (in this case Konad Special Blue Polish - it doesn't have to be a Konad colour to get the finished look, and regular polish will work ).

I then got a old paint brush and swirled the mixture together creating a Pastel Blue =).

*Warning* You have to work very quickly as the polish begins to dry on the plate...Something i learnt on my first attempt =-/ .

I wasn't entirely happy with how this turned out so tried something similar but different (See below)

For this Manicure i used

- Beauty UK - Urban Girl pastels.

- Konad Special Black Polish.

I wasn't keen at all on this manicure either and removed it pretty much straight away, It was then i came up with my 'Hippie Easter eggs'- and all was good lol.

XL A + 'Holo-tastic Nails'

Hey Ladies!

I'm so 'Holo-tastic' happy atm -

After seeing http://girly-addictions.blogspot.com/2011/03/testing-out-my-new-holos.html Review yesterday .

I finally purchased 10 of the Catherine Arley holographic polishes =).

I also added 4 more holographic polishes to my collection, i brought Colour Clubs -Revvolution, Wild at Heart , Fashion Addict and Worth the Risque =-).

All this holo polish got me Manicure happy!- So here is my Monday manicure!

I used:

- Gosh - Holographic.

- Essence nail art black stampy.

- XL plate A.

I love how Gosh holographic Polish looks- but i cannot wait to compare it to my new other holo polishes...when they arrive!.

M56 + 'Green Love'.

Hey Ladies!

Its Friday tomorrow - Woo Hoo! =)

Tonight i did a manicure that would match a top im wearing tomorrow!...Plus i love doing green manicures....Because i get to use 'Its Spring' as my golden excuse lol.

For this Manicure i used:

- China Glaze - Gussied Up Green (Base).

- Gosh - Metallic Green (Tip).

- Konad Special White Polish.

I really love my M56 Konad Plate...As you will see from the last time i used it >

M79 + ' A dash of colour'

Hey Girlie's!

This weekend i intend to be extremely lazy and have a massive catch up on all the TV shows i follow that I've recently neglected (so that's..Grey's anatomy, Gossip girl, 90210 and chuck), Ive brought some Ben and Jerry's for the special occasion lol.

I also wanted to finish swatching my Konad M79 plate. I don't know whether i like or dislike this Manicure, so ill leave it up to you guys for any feedback.

For this Manicure i used :

- Barry M Nail Paint - Spring Green and Pale Blue.

- Models Own - Lemon Meringue.

- Konad Special Black Polish.

I do like the choice of colours, I've i used for this manicure - it feels very summery =).

Here is a picture ' before ' i stamped..My nails remind me of a beach ball lol - Bring on summer!.

I also used this plate yesterday for my Red Nose Day Manicure -http://spellbindingnails.blogspot.com/2011/03/m79-red-nose-day.html.

I read this morning that Comic Relief has raised £74.3m, the highest figure reached on the night of the show in its 23-year history- so yay!- that's fantastic news!.

For swatching my M79 plate i used:

- china Glaze - Rodeo Fanatic.

- Konad Special White Polish.

M79 + Red Nose Day

Hey Ladies!

Today is Red Nose Day!.

Red Nose Day is a chance to transform the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa.

- Konad Special Red Polish.

- Gosh - Holographic Polish.

I do love holographic polishes...I intend to add more Holographic polishes to my collection this year.

St Patrick's Day + M70

Morning Ladies!

I cant believe its Sunday already..boohoo! =(.

I thought id post a simple little St Patrick's day manicure today.

* Apologies for all the multiple pictures with and without flash....I just couldn't capture my gorgeous manicure...so i went a little overboard lol =-/ *

For this Manicure i used my M70 plate ..and :

- Gosh - Holographic Polish.

-Special Konad Green Polish.

I used my M70 plate because this Konad full image has flowers with four petals on...so this could be mistaken for a four leafed clover =).

I cant stop staring at my nails...They are so so pretty!.

- Konad Special Black Polish.

I absolutely love the design on my index finger!...ill have to use this with something else very soon!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day Girlie's !

Here's a quick post of my Valentines Day manicure <3>

I used:

- M65 for the Rose Full length pattern.

- M59 For the hearts and Bows.

- Gosh - Holographic Polish.

- Konad Special Black Polish.

- Some Rhinestones (Red heart rhinestone on my ring finger and a Pink round rhinestone for the bow on my thumb).

Valentine's Day + BM09

Hey Girlie's!

Here's another Valentine 'inspired' Manicure!

For this Manicure i decided to use my BM09 plate!...As i've never used it before =)

i used the following :

- Gosh - Wild Lilac.

-Barry M Nail Paint - Matt White#66.

- Konad Special White Polish.

- Image Plate BM09.

I really LOVE! how this simple manicure turned out!.

I am extremely happy with how the images transferred onto my nails , and love how the colors compliment each other! =) .

Before i did this manicure i tested the big love image from the BM09 plate, overlapping each other in Black and White!.

...However i didn't really feel it was easy to read...but loved how it looked!

Reviewing the rest of the images on the BM09 plate!

For this i used:

- Avon, Nail wear Pro - Green with Envy.

- Konad Special White Polish.

Testing my new XL A plate - Part 2

Hey Girlie's

Here is the last 22 Designs from XL Plate A.

For these test I used:

• Rimmel London - Double Duty Base Coat
• China Glazes - Cow girl Up
• Konad Special White Polish
• Gosh Rainbow (For the last picture)

* Apologies for my sloppy nail varnish applying! I hope it doesn't offend anyone...I was just to anxious to try the designs out =( *

I'm in love with every design on this Plate! <3

There are so many designs..I know this plate will keep me entertained for a while to come and i love that!

Ive decided I'm defiantly going to purchase XL Plates C -F as soon as i can!

Here i used Some Gosh rainbow on my Little Finger, Index Finger and Thumb...Just because i love how it looks! =)))
