Bond...James Bond!

Hey ladies!

Here's a quick post to show you my *Bit of fun* entry for ThatsSoFresh's nail art contest =)

The idea for the Contest was to make designs with Images , you would usually dismiss work!...ThatsSoFresh advised take the most ridiculous /hideous/strange/maybe to cutesy/ designs you have and make it the best you can.

.....That got me thinking so i looked over my collection of plates..and planned away =)

If only i had more medical plates, i really wanted to do a manicure dedicated to Grays anotmony...however..something caught my eye..then i had the song -Golden Eye by Tina Turner stuck in my head, and i knew it was fate!

I used the following plates for this Fun Manicure:

- Konad S5 for the gun ! ...No MI5 agent should be without his gun!

- Fauxnad M42 For the Palm tree...Bond always turns up on a tropical island

- Fauxnad M71 for the white cat from You Only Live Twice, the cat that is stroked by the villain!

- Fauxnad M58 for B, N, D.

- Fauxnad M45 for O.

- Fauxnad M47 of 0 ,0, 7.

- I also painted a golden eye for effect <3

I love to do Fun Manicures -because Nail art should be fun =)

Yee-Haa and a S5 !

Hey girlie's

This is just a quick post to show off the fun i had on Sunday night with my new konad S5 plate.

For this experiment i used:

- Rimmel London - Double duty base coat.

- China Glaze - Wagon Trail (Little Finger).

- Barry M Nail Paint - Matt White #66 ( Third Finger and Index Finger).

- China Glazes - Prize winning Mare (Middle Finger and Thumb).

- Konad Special White Polish with S5 on my on my Middle Finger and Thumb.

- Konad Special Red Polish with M60 on my Index Finger.

- Konad Special Black Polish with M61 on my third Finger, and with S5 on my Index Finger.

- Konad Special White Polish with S5 on my Middle Finger and Thumb.

- Avon Mirror Shine - Gold Foil with S5 On my Little Finger.

This Manicure was only meant to test what the S5 is capable off... And boy...... did it prove it will be used again.

*Apologies in advance for the sloppy application of polish throughout this post*....I was just too eager to test the Plate =-/ *

For testing the S5 plate i used, the following polishes:

- Rimmel London - Double duty base coat.

- Barry M Nail Paint - Matt White #66.

- Konad Special Black Polish .

Testing my new XL A plate - Part 1

Hey girlie's

On Thursday i finally got my hands on the Konad S5 Plate =) Since i first saw this plate......i knew i wanted it!.

I cant wait to try the S5 plate =) , Ive got so many ideas for it.....but...*he-he* I should first try the XL plates i brought in January first .

I brought plates XL A and B from http://www.magnonails.de/, each plate cost 15.99 euros . It took 6 days to arrive to me in the post, which i was very impressed with -) Especially due to postal delays after Christmas.

Plates XL A & B , both contain 42 designs on them each =)

Here's some information about the plates:

• The plate measures approx 148 x 210 mm.
• Each stamp measures a huge 10mm wide by 12mm long.
• The plates can fit into folders designed to hold sizes A5 or A4.

I'm cant wait to test these plates....so I've decided to try the first 20 designs on plate XL A for this article and ill test the following 22 designs very soon =).

For testing the XL A plate i used:

• Rimmel London - Double duty base coat.
• China Glaze - Wagon Trail.
• Konad Special White Polish.

I'm very impressed with how the images transfer.

Each pattern is very well designed.

I found it much easier to use the XL plates then my round plates =-/ .

I am soo happy i got these plates and can see me using them a lot!.
